Student Challenges
As educators, we understand the intrinsic role reflection and long-term, sustainable engagement play within pedagogical philosophy. We therefore integrate reflection workshops and EdProject Challenge within each student tour. Moreover, believing that sustainable travel and global experiences should be available to all, regardless of economic circumstances, we are also pleased to offer the Ross Duran Financial Scholarship to qualifying students.
The following 3 Student Challenges aim to motivate our travelers to “think global, act local”, ensuring sustainable, lifelong learning beyond high school:
The Reflection Center
Reflections are an important part of all Ed Trips and we therefore ask participants to create a post-trip reflection about the challenges they experienced. The reflections can be in the form of written diary entries, poems, songs or a creative video, PowerPoint presentation or a piece of art – the sky is your limit!
The Ed Project Challenge
During your EdTrip, you will learn about the UN SDGs and how to organize and engage in a long-term collaborative Ed Project that will have a positive impact on your community back home.
Ross Duran Scholarship
The Ross Duran Scholarship will allow students to attend one of our Global Student Exchanges, where they will meet other students from around the globe and experience specially curated activities, creative expression, and service opportunities together.
